Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actor and a member of the SSC's board since 2011, is the co-founding artistic director of the recently formed theatre firm Speech of Fire. She has been the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. While Artistic Director of SSC she also served as SSC's costume designer, producer music director, composer and coach for text. Although she was usually the leader of her ensembles the first time she was directing was in SSC King Lear. Post has been married since 1982 to Michael A. Ross, an actor and writer with whom she shares two daughters.
