Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift was born on December 13, 1989 in West Reading, Pennsylvania. Swift has been a singer/songwriter from the pop/country genre for over 20 years. Her tales about young love and heartbreak have gained her widespread popularity during the 21st Century. Swift developed an interest for music in her early years and quickly progressed from playing in shows for children to making her debut in front of an audience. Swift began to compose songs at the age of 11. Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner for a Philadelphia 76ers NBA game. Swift composed original music that was inspired by country artists such as Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks) and Dixie Chicks. Her material reflected Swift's experiences with tweens alienation. Swift moved from Pennsylvania together with her parents, to Hendersonville, Tennessee when she turned 13 to devote more time to reaching out to country labels.
